About Louisa

Louisa grew up and England and began riding at the local riding school; this is where her love affair with horses began, and she spent every minute my parents would allow there. At 11, she started backing and breaking the horses and by the time she was a teenager she was already teaching. Upon leaving school Louisa became a working student and began her British Horse Society training, which would lead her into the high level international competition world.

After that, Louisa worked for three years for the chief d'equipe of the British eventing team, then decided to begin her own boarding and training business. After 4 1/2 years, she wanted to expand my experience and moved to Paris, France to train and teach. In 2005 Louisa moved to the USA and has worked since then training and building her dressage clientele.
In 2006 Louisa met Anne Gribbons, technical adviser for the USA 2012 Olympic Dressage Team, who has become her mentor and with her help Louisa has trained several horses to Grand Prix.

In addition to her regular training with Anne, Louisa rides many clinics with trainers such as; Lars Peterson, Bo Jenner, Stephen Clark, Comrad Schumacher and more recently regularly clinics with Christophe Theallet and Dr. Cesar Parra .
Louisa has spent her whole life around horses; she speaks their language. What is especially notable, though, is that Louisa is able to translate the language of the horse to her students, empowering each rider with the ability to learn from, and with, their own mount. Louisa spends the winter season in Florida training and competing.
Louisa's assistant trainers stay in NY during the winter to ensure that nobody is left behind and Louisa makes fortnightly trips back to NY to give clinics and training to her clients.
